To Keep in Your Prayers

On Friday morning while at work I get a phone call from my mom telling me that Taylor was being rushed in an ambulance to the hospital-and that was pretty much it-I left work shortly after to head to the hospital.  She hasn't been able to breath well on her own so they have had her on oxygen tubes for three days now.  Last night she took a turn for the worse but she seems to be improving today.  This morning I asked some of my closest friends to fast and pray for her with the rest of our family; then this afternoon Phillip, Carleton, and my dad gave her another blessing.  I know that because of those things she is going to recover much sooner.

Carleton has been great, we've gone to see the little one everyday and he'll sing or hum to her for several minutes, then when he stops Taylor will try to hum herself, she is so precious, she's got such a beautiful (weak at the moment) voice that just melts your heart.  He's gonna make such a great dad someday.  We also decided to clorox pretty much every square inch of their house, I mean EVERYTHING, under, on top of, and around every toilet, sink, bed frame, fridge, I mean you name it, it's clean-nobody else is going to get sick in that house!

Jesica and Phillip are such amazing parents, they've been there the whole time, Jes has even attempted sleeping in the tiny baby bed with Taylor so she doesn't get so scared when the doctors and nurses come in at all hours of the day and night to do all sorts of treatments on her.  Here's a little excerpt from my sister's blog.

"Here we are on day 3 and most of the day showed no improvement.  In fact, she had gone from needing 1 liter of oxygen to 3.  I was so frustrated and tired. I haven't been sleeping well and worried sick....
...Today Taylor received a blessing and we witnessed a small miracle!  Soon after that blessing she went from 100% lethargic to climbing all over the crib, smiling, laughing, playing with toys, and down to .5 liters of oxygen!  Her fever has dropped from 104.4 to 97.9.  We are truly blessed.  Every time I hear a blessing I get great comfort in knowing that my Heavenly Father is taking care of me and my family.  I can feel Him here helping to make my baby girl strong."

It's really hard seeing all the tubes and IV in her and hearing her whimper and scream when she's feeling strong enough.  She's one tough cookie though and we know our little Taylor can get over whatever this turns out to be.  Please keep her in your prayers, she needs all the help she can get right now.
