Carleton, Tinley, and I headed to the beach (her first time!) Saturday morning for a little pre-wedding fun before heading to Ocean Isle Beach that evening for my cousin, Justin's wedding. We met up with my family at Oak Island and headed to the azalea festival which, oddly enough, had zero azaleas.
Now to the wedding! This wedding has been a long time coming. Justin & Lauren were high school sweethearts and are now finishing college!
Lauren's dress was absolutely gorgeous.
I always love seeing the look on the groom's face the first time he sees his bride. And Justin did not disappoint!
Noah was always looking out for cameras, and when he saw one he'd cheese it!
He thought the starfish on his shirt was pretty cool too. Who wouldn't?
Oh Talan... he was so bored having to sit still and not dig his toes in the sand in the aisle:)
Husband and wife!
They turned around and looked to the sky...
because they saw this!
*side note: That's how Justin proposed to Lauren
A little dancin' during the reception
There are a lot of dancing songs with the pool because I liked the blue water with their colors;)
During the song where Lauren danced with her dad, Carleton danced with his baby girl to "Cinderella". I might have gotten teary-eyed.
and eatin'
and what would a wedding reception be without some smoochin'?
We snuck away for a few minutes during the reception to grab a couple pics on the beach.
On the way back we circled to the front to take a picture of the GORGEOUS "Knots Landing" home where the wedding was held. The reception was on the backside of the house.
And as luck would have it, we happened upon the bride and groom:)
The wedding was beautiful, but not quite as beautiful as this model couple. Seriously, isn't my cousin a stud?! Welcome to the family, Lauren! It's finally official!
